2003:
our journey begins

In the beginning, we were just friends with a dream and a passion for robotics. educational robotics of central ohio (erco)was there to support us. At our first official competition in 2004, we won Rookie All-Star Award

2012:
Long Lasting Additions

In 2012 we added two long lasting relationships to our community. Scroll to hear about each family that chose to stick around.

2013:
students start ozone at olentangy

as a community team, we have always drawn students from far and wide. during the 2012 season we had students driving from 45+ minutes away.

Two students decided they wanted a team in their school district. They worked with engineer Andy Halter and one of their teachers to make it happen, and 4611 OZone robotics was born in the Olentangy School District.

2016:
starting ftc at erco

2016 marked our largest team size ever with ~40 students on our frc team.

With so many students excited for FIRSt, we decided to start a FIRST Tech Challenge team with those students who were interested. This team continued on to do great things and qualified for world's in the 2026 season.

2019:
world's here we come

at the 2019 miami valley regional, we were ranked 16th and called in to play in the finals when they needed us! We ended up winning the final matches of competition and qualify for the world championship for the first time.

2022:
top 10 robots to beat

2022 was possibly our most promising robot. With a highest ranking of 4th at our regional, we were an alliance captain in the finals and the only top 10 robot to sport tank drive wheels. 

2024:
Status solutions

We were on the streets with no place to meet... when Status solutions swooped in and saved the day! all our robotics teams at ERCO have been meeting at status solutions network happily ever since.
